[attr="class","arrgenMAINTEXT"]Ravenheart has always been a cat that keeps others' best interests in mind. At first glance, he is a friendly, outgoing and compassionate tom. He cares deeply for his friends and remaining family and keeps them close to his heart, and would do anything for them without hesitation. He likes to go out of his way to befriend others, and isn't above making friends in other clans either. Incredibly selfless, he isn't afraid to jump into harm's way to protect the ones he loves. He's a bit of a goofy tom and very playful, though that doesn't mean he's a slacker by any means. No one is more devoted and loyal to his clan than Ravenheart and he would go to great lengths to protect his clan. Ever the optimist, he prefers to look on the bright side of things, and tries to cheer others up if they're feeling down.

He's a very charismatic and outgoing tom, but he wasn't always like that. He was rather shy during his younger moons-- but he's long since shaken off those tendencies. He doesn't see any reason to be afraid of any of his clanmates and likes to think of them all as one big family. He has a soft spot for their youth and isn't afraid to show it, and often offers his services as a kit-sitter should any of the queens need a break. He also enjoys being a mentor, passing on his knowledge to the next generation, and looks forward to his next pupil. He's an incredibly loving and devoted tom who wants nothing but the best for his loved ones, and is willing to go to the ends of the earth to protect them. He can come off as a bit silly and playful, but he's a hard-worker when it counts.

Of course, underneath his bright and jovial exterior is a rather insecure interior. He's always been his own worst critic, and every failure sticks with him for moons. Even though he knows it's a part of life, it still bothers him, as somewhat of a perfectionist. He's actually somewhat reserved despite his friendly nature, and doesn't often like to talk about himself or his life. He's very prone to changing the conversation and focusing on the other cat instead, as he thinks of himself as rather boring. Though he has plenty of acquaintances, he surprisingly has very few genuine close connections, and despite the fact that he craves those connections, he finds himself too fearful of pursuing them for fear of getting hurt. Something deep within his heart subconsciously holds him back.

Though he's charismatic and level-headed, he gets rather embarrassed very easily. He can't handle being flirted with and often stumbles over his words or accidentally bites his tongue whenever it happens. As embarrassing as it is, he usually tends to laugh it off afterward, but it stays with him for days. As hard as he tries to keep his composure, it's easy to see when he gets embarrassed, usually by the sudden prickling of his fur or the way his eyes dart around nervously. Little nervous habits he hasn't quite trained himself out of yet, much to his chagrin. This makes searching for a partner difficult for him, as he believes he always makes a fool of himself and gets too embarrassed to face them again. When it comes to battle, Ravenheart isn't to be underestimated-- he's quite strong on his own, but when motivated by hatred or anger, he becomes quite the beast. Unstoppable in his rage, he will do whatever he can to acquire vengeance upon those who may have harmed or killed his loved ones. He's incredibly overprotective of them, having lost too many loved ones in the past, and he tends to cling onto the ones he has left, especially his brother, Smokewhisker.

Ravenkit and Smokekit are born to two loyal warriors of Shadowclan. The two are thick as thieves right off the bat, and are practically inseparable wherever they go. While Ravenkit is the more outgoing and sociable one, Smokekit is the calm and level-headed one who often tries to keep his brother from getting into to much trouble.

5 MOONS
When their mother suddenly faints while out and about in camp, it is discovered that she's actually rather sick. The stubborn molly had refused to see their medicine cats until it had gotten out of hand. Unfortunately, she isn't able to recover and passes away a week later. Their father is heartbroken, Smokekit is devastated, and Ravenkit is left trying to pick up the pieces. Though he is greatly upset, he puts on a strong front for his brother and father.

6 MOONS
Ravenpaw and Smokepaw are named apprentices, and Ravenpaw's mentor is a gruff old tom by the name of Duskwhisker. he's not an easy tom to please, and Ravenpaw finds himself working harder and harder each day to gain his mentor's approval, even taking the time on his off days to keep practicing. This eventually leads to him overworking himself and passing out while training one day, waking up in the medicine den with his worried brother stationed by his side.

12 MOONS
Eventually, his hard work starts paying off. His skills begin improving rapidly, and when the time comes for his assessment, he passes with flying colors, the first and only time he ever received praise from the cranky old furball. He is named Ravenheart, and Smokepaw is given the name Smokewhisker. As they sit vigil that night, Ravenheart wonders if their mother is watching them from Starclan.

17 MOONS
A huge wave of sickness plagues Shadowclan, wiping out a good majority of the clan. Ravenheart's father is one of the many victims, and once again he and Smokewhisker are left grieving the loss of a parent. Ravenheart tries his best to cheer his brother and himself up. They both manage to avoid getting sick, but Ravenheart becomes overwhelmingly protective and scared for his brother's well-being.

28 MOONS
Ravenheart is assigned his first apprentice, a little tom by the name of Rainpaw. A quiet and soft-spoken tom with a heart of gold, he takes to Ravenheart very quickly and follows him around near constantly. The warrior is mildly embarrassed by the attention, but becomes increasingly protective over Rainpaw and does his best to be a good teacher.

32 MOONS
Hawkflight is crushed to death by a falling branch after a tree is struck by lightning, leaving Lionfire as Shadowclan's sole medicine cat.

33 MOONS
While training with Rainpaw, the two are ambushed by a wild and angry fox. Ravenheart is heavily wounded in the fight and nearly dies, but Rainpaw is able to save him and drive off the fox. He brings his mentor back to camp and he slowly recovers in Lionfire's den. Rainpaw is awarded his name early due to his bravery and skill, gaining the name Rainstrike.

34 MOONS
Ravenheart is finally released from Lionfire's den, much to his brother's relief. Ravenheart is still sore, but managed to get away with his life thanks to Rainstrike. He remains close friends with his former apprentice.

35 MOONS
Finchclaw is hit by a monster that veered off the Thunderpath and dies. Onyxfeather is chosen as Shadowclan's newest deputy.
