Beepaw

In a word, Beepaw is frustrated. Frustrated and frustrating. He can be snappy and surly. He doesn't always filter his thoughts before he hisses them out. He can be insulting, but generally is also very honest. He's not a good liar and to do so would likely make him feel physically unwell or jittery. White lies he thinks are totally worthless. He's loud and angry.

In terms of the Warrior Code and Starclan, he is respectful and doing his best to follow what is expected out of him. Paired with his honesty, he is likely to snitch on others, especially cats his age to his elders and superiors--yet his respect of the code and Starclan also make him see those older than him in a higher light. He tries to assume the best in those he respects, and those may be very gullible and naive.

He's not the smartest cat, but he's not the dumbest either. He's quick-witted and creative at times, but also very foolish and impulsive. His impatience is usually what gets the better of him when it comes to needing to stop and think about things first, not actually the short-coming of his actual wits.

He thinks he could be a fun cat but has had a hard time getting others to see that about him. As a result, there is a few layers of insecurity present in this young tom, even if he tries to be confident and strong.

Beepaw likes to watch wildlife, particularly fast moving wildlife like birds. When he's by himself, he actually likes to collect things for other woodland animals and try to leave them gifts. He can't talk to them, and most of them don't know or appreciate his efforts, but when he manages to get a squirrel to take an acorn he left out for them, it makes his whole day.

PARENTS -> EARLY KITHOOD
His biological mother was a strong warrior named Firejump and his father was an eloquent tom named Dustwalker. Both were exceptional warriors, Firejump in particular, and many were excited for Firejump's first litter. Her sister in particular was eager to apprentice one of her kits. Tragically, Firejump died while giving birth.

Dustwalker was heartbroken to the point of being bedridden. Parenting of the kits fell upon Firejump's sister. Not wanting Firejump to feel forgotten, the sister only ever had the kits view her as their doting aunt. Regardless, she ended up being their sole caretaker through kithood. Dustwalker never recovered and eventually left Thunderclan. His whereabouts are currently unknown but it's suspected he became a kittypet since no one could imagine him surviving in his state as all alone.

The kits reacted to their familial situation each differently. Some smoothly, some very happy, and some not so much.


EARLY APPRENTICESHIP
Beepaw nor any of his siblings ended up mentored by their aunt. She was considered too biased to do so; the same as any queen might be, but also she was exhausted from the undertaking. Beepaw's mentor is now someone that Beepaw was previously unfamiliar with; Hazesight. Currently, Beepaw only sees Hazesight as a capable warrior that he is eager to learn under.

Now able to be independent from his family, Beepaw spends a lot of time alone. His abrasive personality has made making friends a slow process for him and he's responded to that by finding other ways to spend his downtime.
