Wheatcloud

[attr="class","arrgenMAINTEXT"]Wheatcloud has a funny way of finding the good in anything. He's generally well-liked and loves company, often spending his free time hanging around others and chatting about trivial things he finds interesting. He is a bit of an air-head but not out of lack of intelligence, he simply prefers to take things slow and admire the world around him. Conflict stresses him out, as much as he would hate to admit it, so he tends to stay neutral during times of turmoil and generally doesn't take sides. Ever. That being said, if pushed enough, he will do his duty as a warrior and serve his Clan...it just may take a lot of pushing.

Still a young tom and a young warrior, Wheatcloud has a lot of maturing to do whether he likes it or not, and sometimes shirks his daily duties so he can run the moor alone away from authority figures. He is rather irresponsible in that sense, and is prone to serving his needs first above those of his Clan. It may seem like he's selfish, but he is slowly discovering that he needs that stimulation in order to focus in day-to-day life.

[attr="class","arrgenMAINTEXT"]Wheatcloud's kithood was relatively uneventful. He was born to two WindClan warriors, Fernstep and Haybreeze (NPCs) and has two siblings, Meadowleap and Honeywing (NPCs). A couple moons into his apprenticeship, Emberspark rose to the deputy position, and WindClan fell into turmoil. Wheatpaw found himself thrust into conflict, something that he discovered he was very much against, and the rest of his apprenticeship was spent battling tumultuous emotions. He closed himself off somewhat from his mentor and fellow apprentices in order to deal with his fear and anxieties. Traditionally a free speaker on whatever comes to his mind, he really learned how to hold his tongue around Emberstar. Ironically enough, it enabled him to complete his training in a more timely manner than expected, and he earned his warrior name at the age of 12 moons. The battle amongst Emberstar and the rest of WindClan came to a head and, forced to choose a side, he overcame his fear of retribution and helped WindClan and RiverClan win the battle against Emberstar and his followers. With the tyrant defeated, Wheatcloud saw Viperstar rise to power. Secretly, he harbors the fear that history will repeat itself, so whether he realizes it or not, he is currently doing what he can to keep the Clan happy. Outwardly relaxed during the day, the large warrior often finds himself laying awake at night in his nest, digging his claws deep into the dirt as if to keep himself rooted.
