[attr="class","arrgenMAINTEXT"]Much like her brother, Blossomtalon is as prickly as they come. She's rude, blunt and doesn't like being bothered when she's hard at work. She often gets exasperated with her clanmates and frequently strikes out on her own to find the peace and quiet she so desperately needs. She's incredibly stubborn, and often refuses to believe that she could ever be wrong about anything. Especially when she has her sights set on something, she will never back down or give up as long as she can help it. She can be difficult to get along with, at the best of times-- and downright frustrating at the worst of times, especially when her temper gets the better of her. She tends to get rather snippy and sarcastic when particularly irritated, and it isn't uncommon for her to jab at others.

When it comes to the other clans, Blossomtalon is especially aggressive. She believes wholeheartedly that Riverclan is the best clan, and refuses to interact with the other clans if she can help it. She's prone to shooting snarky comments or insults if they meet an opposing patrol, and if it results in a fight? Well, that's just more exciting, isn't it? Anything to spice up the dullness of everyday life in the clans. The molly can come off as rather arrogant most of the time, as if she thinks she's better than everyone else, and while she may say that-- it's not quite true, not deep down. Hard work goes a long way, though, and she's worked hard to get where she is. She knows she's talented, and isn't afraid to show it off.

Despite her faults, no one can doubt that Blossomtalon is intensely loyal to her clan. She will do anything for the sake of her clan, even if it means shedding blood. She's a good fighter and she won't hesitate to put her skills to good use. She's also incredibly passionate about what she believes in, and very outspoken. If she has something she wants to say, she will say it-- others be damned. She doesn't care about what others think of her and is content just living her every day life with her family and her mate. She appears rough and gruff on the outside, but those that are intimately familiar with her know that she truly does love and adore her family and friends-- she's just not good at showing it. She's never been an emotional type, and it shows.

No one is more determined than Blossomtalon. As mentioned before, she's not a quitter. She hates doing things half-heartedly, and would rather try and fail than give up halfway. She's a very restless type, and is usually always buzzing around camp doing something to keep herself occupied. Resolute and steadfast, Blossomtalon knows what she wants and isn't afraid to do what she can to accomplish her goals. Firm, and unwavering, with big dreams that she wants to accomplish one day. She's determined to make a name for herself and no one will get in her way.

Blossomkit, Nettlekit, and Oak-kit are born to two young lovers in the midst of Leaf-fall. Despite the rapidly cooling weather, the kits are warmly greeted by their parents and by Riverclan as a whole. Not much is to be remembered of her early moons, but only a couple moons in, she remembers feeling the worst she's ever felt.

3 MOONS
As Leafbare settles in, sickness also manages to creep in. Blossomkit, Nettlekit, Oak-kit and their mother all catch Greencough and are forced to stay in Yellowstrike's den. The kits and their mother are quarantined in his den for three whole moons, never straying far from Yellowstrike's sight so the tom can make sure the family have all fully recovered. But by the time they are six moons old, they are ready to be apprentices.

6 MOONS
Blossompaw, Nettlepaw and Oakpaw are all made into apprentices. Though Blossompaw and Nettlepaw are strong and healthy, Oakpaw is still small and weakened by illness, and was quickly deemed not yet ready to begin his training. He remained in Yellowstrike's den while his two siblings were cleared to start their training.

7 MOONS
Alas, it was not meant to be for poor Oakpaw. He joined Starclan only a moon later, his body too weak and frail to fully recover. Blossompaw is devastated by the loss, and Nettlepaw is rather shaken. This event instilled a subtle but undeniable protective streak-- she couldn't stand to lost anyone else she cares about, and she will fight anyone or anything that tries to take them away from her.

9 MOONS
Her mentor has her sparring with another apprentice, a moon younger than her. Blossompaw feels this is the perfect chance to show off the skills she's learned. It's a fairly even match between the two, surprisingly, as the calico is able to keep up with her. But she suddenly trips up Blossompaw and manages to pin her. Blossompaw is disgruntled by the loss and demands a rematch. She wins the second time, but just barely. She begrudgingly acknowledges the other molly she now knows as Splashpaw as an equal in terms of skill. This prompts an unspoken competition between the two for the rest of their apprenticeships, to see who can one-up the other.

11 MOONS
Even though it's nearing the end of their apprenticeships, Nettlepaw decides to switch to being a medicine cat apprentice, trained by Yellowstrike. Blossompaw is outwardly supportive of the decision, though mildly disappointed that they won't be warriors together. She gets over it quickly.

12 MOONS
Blossompaw becomes Blossomtalon. She glows with pride as the clan chants her name, her gaze instinctively finding Splashpaw in the crowd. Only a moon more and they will be able to share a den again. She finds herself surprised with how much she's thinking about her friendly rival, someone who's quickly becoming her best friend. That night, as she sits vigil, she once again mourns the lost life of her deceased brother. If he'd been alive, he'd be sitting here next to her. She wonders if he's happy up there in the sky.

13 MOONS
Splashpaw is given the name Splashmist. Blossomtalon is ecstatic to be reunited with her best friend again. The two are practically inseparable from this point on.

19 MOONS
Nettlepaw is awarded his full name, Nettleheart. Yellowstrike promptly switches back to the path of a warrior, where his heart was set, leaving Nettleheart Riverclan's sole medicine cat.

22 MOONS
Falconfeather passes away suddenly in his sleep, which comes as a surprise to the whole clan. Yellowstrike is chosen as their next deputy, which comes as an even bigger shock-- at least, to Blossomtalon, anyway.

25 MOONS
When Riverclan is threatened by Emberstar over a bunch of half-blooded little runts, Blossomtalon is peeved. The Gathering is dismissed early so they can prepare for, presumably, an incoming war. But Windclan deputy Vipereye has a plan to dethrone Emberstar, with Riverclan's help. A fight breaks out in Windclan's camp and Emberstar is killed in front of both clans-- but Whitestar also falls in battle. Riverclan returns home and Yellowstrike becomes Yellowstar, announcing Violetdawn as their deputy. Splashmist is injured in the battle, but comes out of it alive. Blossomtalon is relieved, and realizes that she can't live without the calico-- and that she's fallen in love with her.

But that's not the end of their troubles, not yet-- Emberstar's former lackeys continue to cause trouble, both on Windclan's border and Riverclan's. Blossomtalon can't help but wonder what it'll take to make those losers leave them alone.
