[attr="class","arrgenMAINTEXT"]Growing up, Murkpaw was always someone who never liked to stand out. Always so shy, he had a tendency to hide behind his brother or his mother rather than put himself out there. But over the course of his training, he has actually grown somewhat more confident in himself. His true personality as started to really shine, and now Murkpaw is a warm and compassionate presence. Still a bit shy around cats he doesn't know very well, but he's mostly grown comfortable around his peers. He's very friendly and likes to hang out with the other apprentices, especially his siblings. He has even managed to make friends outside of his family, which he is very proud of. He's the first to offer a helping paw to those in need, and refuses to leave anyone hanging.

Murkpaw has always been an intelligent and observant young tom. He's always watching his surroundings, and is usually able to pick up on the little things that most others wouldn't notice. He also has a tendency to eavesdrop on conversations, but that's usually unintentional. He means no harm, honest! He's fairly intuitive, and is usually able to pick up on the emotions of others and can sense when someone is struggling. Even if it may not entirely be his place to offer help, he'll still want to try! Even if the only thing he can do is offer some companionship. As his warrior ceremony grows ever closer, he becomes increasingly nervous about his abilities and worries if he can really do well. But he also worries about his sister, with her twisted leg. Even if he knows she'll be fine.

He's always been a bit of a worrywart, and always seems to be nervous about something. He's very uncertain about most things, and can never seem to make up his mind when it comes to big decisions. He has a tendency to overthink things, to the point of making himself anxious, and he just can't seem to shake off his nervous tendencies. He's certainly not a leader, and still doesn't really find it in him to take charge-- even if just for a patrol. Just the thought of leading others makes him nervous, and he doesn't think he's really a good fit. He'd much rather follow other's leads, which is what he's much more comfortable with. He knows he must get over this at some point, but it's... hard.

Murkpaw is heavily insecure, and worries about his future. What if he doesn't pass his assessment? What if he's not good enough to be a warrior? He isn't as skilled as Sedgepaw, nor as social and likeable as Pebblepaw. It's lessened somewhat as he's grown and gained a bit more confidence in himself, but it still lingers deep down, with the tom unable to truly shake off these worries. Murkpaw is a bit of a sensitive tom, and deeply emotional. He feels deeply, and rarely sees the need to hide it. While not necessarily a bad thing in general, he does wish he wasn't so much of a crybaby at times. He can also be a bit clumsy, occasionally even tripping over his own paws. It's embarrassing, but he's learning to move past it... Mostly. Sometimes he still doesn't watch where he's going.

Murk-kit, Sedgekit, and Pebblekit are born to Hailstorm, a respected warrior of Riverclan. Of the three kits, Murk-kit is the most reserved and timid, preferring to stay with his mother rather than play with the other kits, despite her gentle reassurances. When he does stray from her side, he sticks closely to either Sedgekit and Pebblekit and refuses to leave their sides.

6 MOONS
Murkpaw, Sedgepaw and Pebblepaw are named apprentices. While he's shy around his mentor in the beginning, over the course of their training he slowly becomes more accustomed to them and starts coming out of his shell a bit. He becomes a brave, selfless young tom willing to fight for what is right.

11 MOONS
After the fight with Windclan and both clans' shifting ranks, Murkpaw remains a bit nervous about the future. Many cats are injured in the battle and Whitestar dies, causing Yellowstar to take over as leader. Pebblepaw's leg is badly injured, and Sedgepaw gains some nasty scars on his face. Windclan is hopefully no longer a threat with Emberstar gone, but there seems to be no sign of the rogues giving up on causing them and Windclan trouble. He's nervous about what they may do next-- and is desperate to keep his siblings safe from this point on, no matter what it may take.
