Thistletail

[attr="class","arrgenMAINTEXT"]Born and raised in Riverclan, Thistletail devoted her life to the warrior code. Loyal and determined, the she-cat grew from kithood into a well-respected and generally well-liked warrior within the clan. Near average in all tasks, the cat might have excelled in leadership or tactics had she applied herself. Not exactly lazy, per-se, Thistle lacks the ambition required of the go-getters and upstart leaders. She's content in supporting roles, and prefers to advise and follow rather than take charge. Who wants all that stress anyway?! Thistle enjoys her current role as warrior, and doesn't seek change or over-involvement in most matters. While she understands the importance of her duties and performs with average satisfaction, the she-cat somehow always manages to find the fun in the most mundane of tasks. A friendly charmer, Thistle would much rather bask in the mid-day sun or entertain kits with her plume of a tail.

Due to her large tail always getting entangled in briars or weeds, Thistle almost always carries her tail held high. It's her greatest source of pride.

[attr="class","arrgenMAINTEXT"]Born to Fawnsong and Otterleap, Thistlekit was raised alongside her two siblings. The trio grew and learned the ways of the clan together. Thistlekit could often be found attempting to engage her siblings in silly games and scuffles. The kit had enough imagination to make up for her sister's stoney countenance, and never failed to poke or prod her siblings into her own wild adventures. More than once, she earned a scolding for chewing on the wrong cat's tail.

As Thistlekit became Thistlepaw at around 6 moons of age, she trained with her mentor Brackenwood. Later in life, much of her charm and wit can be attributed to her mentor. The pair grew close and Thistlepaw mirrored many of the mannerisms and behaviors of the care-free tom. When her sister's first mentor died in a border skirmish with Riverclan, Thistlepaw consoled her. To this day, the she-cat harbors a grudge against Thunderclan for making her sister grieve as she had- Even if she concealed it far better than most knew.

At 12 moons, Thistlepaw became Thistletail. Her large tail, a beauty and a cumbrance, may have determined her warrior name. Often during trainings with Brackenwood, the young apprentice would trip over her fluffy tail or become entangled in briars. Determined to live past this blessing or curse, Thistletail always carries her large tail high.

Usually, Thistletail spends her time hunting for the clan and chatting it up with the elders (they're a cool bunch okay and their stories are great). She also likes to spend her free time devising ways to permanently claim Sunningrocks for Riverclan, because they rightfully own her favorite piece of the territory (duh).

While Thistletail neither excels nor fails as a warrior, the she-cat is content with her lot in life. As it goes, those content to idle typically find the easiest means to an end- that which requires the least amount of effort. She was given her first apprentice, Stormpaw, around 30 moons of age. The apprentice trained well and the pair grew close. Truth be told, they had a lot in common, and Thistle may be guilty of doting upon the tom as one might their own child (even as he aged). The youth was made a full fledged warrior named Stormwing (character played by bumblebee) around Thistle's 40 moons of age. Not long after, Thistletail entertained a tom and loosely became short-lived mates. Soon she delivered a small litter of kits, Mintkit and Sagekit. A kind and caring mother, Thistle intended to be as involved in their lives as possible. Luckily, the queen's den was full of warmth, love, and kits for her own children to play with.

Once the kits were weaned, the Riverclan leader saw fit to give the she-cat a second youth to mentor, and Thistle may have her paws full with young Pebblepaw's unique challenges.
