Tigerlily

[attr="class","arrgenMAINTEXT"]Tigerlily isn't your run-of-the-mill she-cat Shadowclan warrior. She's strong-willed, clever, and very outgoing. She loves interacting with the other cats in her clan and getting to know everyone. Beautiful, opinionated, and flirtatious, Tigerlily has it all. Between her and her sister Foxtail, Shadowclan has two very extroverted personalities. Despite supposedly being picked up at the edge of the territory and not being of clan blood, Tigerlily seems to fit right into the clan.

But that's not the real her.

You don't know her. You will never know her. Only very few know her and those few are either her best friend or dead. She trusts absolutely no one but herself and the love of her life, and even that's because he chooses to follow her no questions asked. She's a great manipulator, especially when she's trying to get something out of someone and she's very dangerous. It's not just because she's clever, it's also because she's unpredictable. She could kill you for the fun of it, or she could have a great old time manipulating you instead. You never know.

Everyone is expendable except herself and her love. Everyone else... can be useful for a time, but they really aren't her problem. She takes care of herself and her love and that's it. Not even Foxtail is that important to her, no matter that they were blood-related.

Oh she'll treat you like you're special, she'll give you all the attention you think you deserve. But she's a careful one, that one. She knows how to pull the puppet strings carefully. Better not underestimate her, cause she might teach you how to breathe in the swamp.

[attr="class","arrgenMAINTEXT"]she was born from pain, misery, and rebellion. lionfire and hawkflight, two well respected medicine cats of shadowclan, gave birth to three young kits that went by the names of tigerkit, foxkit, and eaglekit. but they were cursed to have unnormal lives. eaglekit was the runt of the litter and didn't make it till dawn, while tigerkit became cursed with darkness in her heart. she would take after her grandfather in her thirst for blood, even at a young age.

as medicine cats, lionfire and hawkflight were forbidden by starclan to have kits. and while lionfire's labor was filled with pain and possible death she pulled through and decided to give her kits away to a queen called daisyfur. tigerkit would learn soon enough that daisyfur was her mother and that she and foxkit were found by the two medicine cats within the territory abandoned by their mother.

this formed a bitterness within tigerkit's heart. her mother didn't want her. what gave her the right to think that she could believe this clan wanted her either. her mother, daisyfur, gave her and foxkit all the love and affection they could ever want, but tigerkit would soon reserve herself from everyone else. even her beloved sister. she was the outgoing one, and tigerkit became bitter and jealous of her. everyone loved her and wanted to be around her, including most of the kits in the nursery.

but there was just one kit that wouldn't leave tigerkit alone. cinderkit would be her shadow, looking up to her as though she were the best thing since moss balls. she found him absolutely annoying at first, wanting nothing more than to be alone to brood, but this kit just kept following her. he was a few sunrises younger than her and acted like a starstruck kit.

as soon as she realized he would do anything she asked of him, a new plan formed in her mind. she wanted to be leader, if only because she wanted everyone to do her bidding. she wanted to make the decisions within the clan and to do as she saw fit with it. especially since it would never fully accept her into its ranks. cinderkit would be her second in command, her general. if he so chose to be.

so she had to test his limits. how far would he go for her? how far would she herself go for this clan?

they became apprentices together. foxpaw, tigerpaw, cinderpaw, and his brother cedarpaw, who foxpaw had a crush on. they even trained together under the watchful eyes of their mentors. tigerpaw's mentor was one of Ashstar's many children. ashencloud was a good mentor. he deepened the bitter pain she felt toward her mother and sister, confirmed her suspicion that Ashstar was a terrible leader and that shadowclan should be purged of his evil, and he taught her how to hold a pretty face and a gentle smile. she was soon a changed cat.

but she still hadn't experimented with her beloved cinderpaw just how far he would go for her.

one day tigerpaw and cinderpaw came back with cedarpaw's body, bones broken, and covered in blood. they said that they went to go see the thunderclan border, to see the thunderpath and that cedarpaw had gotten too close for his own good. Foxpaw cried for days, saddened that her best friend had died so suddenly.

but tigerpaw and cinderpaw knew the real reason cedarpaw was dead. they knew who's paws were stained with his blood. and they were proud of what they had done. surrounding him. cornering him. cinderpaw was the one who pushed him. she watched it happen with her own eyes. and then she could only smile. they were on the same page then.

in her own mind, there was pomp and circumstance at their naming ceremony. foxpaw failed her warrior assessment and so was held back a moon, but tigerpaw and cinderpaw became Tigerlily and Cinderfrost. and they've been planning their ascent ever since that day.
