Asphodel

[attr="class","arrgenMAINTEXT"]the first thing that's probably noticed about asphodel is that they're very friendly. they make friends super easily even if the relationships don't last long. they exude confidence and even faces their fears with a smile on their face. they're not afraid to speak their mind, but usually does so with kindness and respect when possible and calm and collected when not. they like to make others smile and so are known for cracking jokes or building someone else up through compliments.

but despite their friendliness and the illusion of charisma, asphodel is very introverted and gains a lot of their energy from being alone. they're not a very quick processor and need time to make decisions or sort through their emotions and beliefs in order to take on a new life choice. in this same logic, asphodel is a very gentle cat. they love passionately but quietly and will probably be the last cat to communicate such.

emotions are a hard thing for asphodel. they feel passionately, but struggle to express those emotions. instead, they put on a calm and friendly demeanor to hide their hurts and pains. they're really good at bringing emotional advice but not very good at following that emotional advice.

when it comes to tough situations, asphodel is more of an escape artist than anything else. they're creative and resourceful, and they take in their surroundings quickly and efficiently. they have a survival instinct like no other and are very used to taking care of themselves. sometimes they have a hard time taking help from others, but they are perfectly fine giving help back.

[attr="class","arrgenMAINTEXT"]their mother a young kittypet, their father a loner, asphodel and their siblings were born into a plush and comfortable world. their mother was a beautiful breeding cat who watched the window every day, longing for something more in her life. it was during one of her window watching sessions that she met him. he was a loner who had fallen deeply in love with her, even just watching her stare out the window. she was beautiful, her silver coat catching his attention and he slowly introduced himself to her. they spoke through the screen whenever the window was open and would find ways to communicate when the window was closed.

soon she also fell in love with his rough but charming demeanor. and one day, she just couldn't help herself and she was able to break through the screen, taking on this loner as her mate. they were both young and she began living with him on the small street that they met each other on. they made lots of friends with the many calm loners in the residential area. and eventually, she became pregnant with his kits. they had three. asphodel, wisteria, and lavender.

growing up on the calm street the three kits had a very comfortable kithood. their parents found a warm home to live in and as the three grew up their father told them story after story of the clan cats who lived in the forest. the stories had come from his grandfather who used to what he called a thunderclan warrior. he had fallen in love with the clan culture and ended up telling his three kits about it and the fighting and hunting skills he'd learned from his father.

asphodel took to the teachings and learning the skills very quickly. they loved the culture that they were learning about and soon began to dream of finding them. but they never told their father or their mother about their dreams to find them. it was when they were around 8 moons old that they snuck out of the safety of their home.

they soon decided to go find this forest, leaving their family behind. lavender woke and tried to stop them, but was finally convinced that it was time for asphodel to go. lavender kept their secret and left them to travel toward the forest. they only just recently arrived at the forest, unsure how to proceed across the borders to meet them, asphodel has been sneaking around the borders, waiting for the perfect time to show themself.
